i was inspired by dear elizabeth to write in my blog.
today, i have gone to the gym (thank the lord), read "ethnicity and nationalism", and watched half an episode of the city in the lounge with my floormates. after i write this blog entry, i will continue to read "ethnicity and nationalism", before moving onto "the ethnicity reader: nationalism, multiculturalism and migration". then i will do a bit of french homework. then i will look over the biology group project we are supposed to have started already.

tomorrow i have my first exam, sociology. i've noticed a few things over the last few days, one of them being that everybody in my sociology class is either a 3rd year or a 4th year (that i've talked to). i've also noticed that i can't read the books we've been assigned. actually, "ethnicity and nationalism" is going pretty well. the other one, however, is way over my head.
i fail at university.

oh well. after tomorrow is the weekend, which is a good thing because we over here at ubc essentially live for partytime. love it.
